Statement

Improvisation, and especially free improvisation has given to everybody the ability to express his ideas and communicate without any rules and forms. I think “instant synthesis” is a way having rules in free improvisation, in order to expand an idea thru a creative group of people without prohibitions.

Field of interest

As musician i am making a sound scenery, as a technician I try to get the 100% of the equipment abilities.

Shortbio

Born in Volos, Greece. He studied music (theory, accordion, music technology) and information technology. He has been teaching music technology (Municipal Conservatory of Volos, Musical praxis conservatory – Athens). He has composed music for theater plays (more than 30) and films.

He was a member of the rock groups (Lost bodies, postblue etc). He has participated in contemporary music concerts. As an improviser he has cooperated in concerts and recorded with musicians from Greece and other European countries. He is a member of the Greek Electroacoustic composer association (ESSIM). He has performed his electroacoustic works at concerts and festivals using multichannel sound systems. He is member of “medea electronique” since 2007.

He has worked as production manager (municipality of volos, Small music theatre, Iamvos)

Parallel to his teaching and artistic activity since 1995 he has been working as audiovisual and lighting engineer in theater plays, live events, exhibitions and other.
