Guido De Flaviis took the saxophone diploma in Milan with a first-class honors degree in 2004 and in 2007 he took with honors, the Master Degree at the Dutch national academy of music in Amsterdam. He won three Scholarships as the “Top Talent” in Netherlands and was awarded with the first absolute prize among all the categories of soloists in two international competitions and the second price in the chamber music category. His concert activity with different chamber music groups made him perform at music festivals and concerts in the most famous Italian and European Theaters He has played with a lot of different orchestras like the “Scaligeri”of “La Scala”,the S.Cecilia of Rome, Verdi of Milan; Camerata, Hromaton and ERT of Athens; Kratiki’ of Thessaloniki.

Electroacoustic Composition from England/ Greece Primary interest is in music and new technology, with a principle focus on the use of computer technology in composition and performance.His compositional activities center around three areas: electroacoustic music, the useof live electronics alongside acoustic instruments and computer controlled sonic installations. His performance activities concentrate on advanced sound diffusion techniques for the performance of electroacoustic music.
He is a member of the Sonic Arts Network, and also a founder member of the electroacoustic performance group Nerve8.

Eric Lewis – Improviser / Philosopher
Eric Lewis is a professor of Philosophy at McGill University, specializing in the philosophy of improvised music. He helps run ICASP (Improvisation, Community and Social Practice), an international research projected dedicated to the study of the social aspects of improvisational practices. He is an improvising brass player, having performed with the likes of Pauline Oliveros, Joe McPhee, Jean Derome, Lori Freeman and Roger Dean. He has just completed a book manuscript entitled: Other Worlds: Toward an Ontology of Improvised Music. Prof. Lewis has lectured internationally on improvised music and its many manifestations.

Alexandros Drymonitis – Guitar / Live Electronics
Alexandros Drymonitis is an MMus graduate of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. He studied guitar in Athens, Amsterdam and Berlin, specializing in contemporary music, and specifically in the co-operation between the composer and the performer. He attended composition classes in Athens and Amsterdam, plus several electronic music seminars and workshops. He has found his place in the field of free improvisation. He has collaborated with various artists from different art disciplines, plus several ensembles, either interdisciplinary or music ensembles.He has taught at the Music School of Amsterdam and is currently teaching at ‘Philippos Nakas’ Conservatory and ‘Geitonas’ private school in Athens.

Ioanna Kabylafka – Performer / Choreographer
Performer from Greece Graduated from the Laban Centre (Bachelor of Arts in Dance Theatre) and from the Middlesex University (Diploma in Interior Design). During the academic year 2003- 2004 she got a scholarship from The Fulbright Foundation and studied in various dance schools in New York (Movement Research, Trisha Brown, Dance Space, Susan Klein and Barbara Mahler). She has also attended seminars of improvisation, dance techniques and dance theatre in Greece as well as abroad by: Jeremy Nelson, Paul Douglas, Akram Khan, Vicky Shick, David Zamprano, Yvonne Maier, Juliette Mapp, Barbara Mahler etc. She is a key member of the dance company ‘Kinitiras Dance Spectacle’ since 1998 when at the same time she cooperated as a dancer with the following groups: Seimio Theatre, Egos Dance Company, Pocket theatre etc. As a choreographer she worked with The Arts Theatre, Seimio Theatre, Kalouta Theatre etc She has taught movement, improvisation and dance at various drama schools and actors. She is also a certified yoga teacher from the International Samvit Sagar Yoga School. She was selected and granted by UNESCO’s program “Aschberg Bursaries for Artists” as ‘artist in residence’ for the “Dance Centre School of Performing Arts” in Bangkok, Thailand. During the 6 months of her residency in Bangkok, she taught movement composition, improvisation, dance technique and Yoga. During the ‘International Dance Day Festival 2007’ in Bangkok she also presented excerpts from the dance theatre piece of the Kinitiras’ production “Clytemnestra Invisible”, in collaboration with the “The Company of Performing Artists” Thailand and with the opera singer Sophie Tanapura.

Stavros Apostolatos – Dancer / Choreographer
He was born in April 1975 in Chania of Crete where in 91 ‘ he began his relation with dance. He is alumnus of The Ministry of Culture Proffesional Section Of Dance. He has attended several circles of courses and seminars of Classic Dance, Modern Techniques, Realise Techiques, Contact Improvisation, Improvisation, Buto, with schoolteachers from Greece, America and Europe. He has taken workshops with:William Forsythe – Frankfurt opera Studio, UnderwegsTeatre-Germany, Pina Bausch Dance Cie, Helge Musial-Tanzfabrik Dance Cie-Berlin, Jean Francois Lefort-France, Masaki Iwana-Japan, and many more. As a teacher of modern dance he has been teaching since 2003 both in Athens and Germany.

Manolis Manousakis – Composer / Sound Artist
Manousakis gained his footing in live theater while at Columbia College in Chicago, where he studied composition with Gustavo Leone before returning to study with Tim Ward and Andreas Mniestris at the Ionian University in Corfu, Greece. Prior to his sojourn in Chicago, Manousakis had already composed the music for several projects and was deeply engaged in both independent avant-garde theater and in the popular theater of his native country. Since that time, he has rarely been without a film or stage project and as a result has embraced a wide variety of stylistic influences. He notes, “I found that, through composing for music for the theater, I could explore different paths of writing–from baroque music when composing for Shakespearean plays to hard core electronica when composing for independent shows.”

Thodoris Zioutos – Live Electronics / Audio Tech
Born in Volos, Greece. He studied music (theory, accordion, music technology) and information technology. He has been teaching music technology (Municipal Conservatory of Volos, Musical praxis conservatory – Athens). He has composed music for theater plays (more than 30) and films. He was a member of the rock groups (Lost bodies, postblue etc). He has participated in contemporary music concerts. As an improviser he has cooperated in concerts and recorded with musicians from Greece and other European countries. He is a member of the Greek Electroacoustic composer association (ESSIM). He has performed his electroacoustic works at concerts and festivals using multichannel sound systems. He is member of “medea electronique” since 2007. He has worked as production manager (municipality of volos, Small music theatre, Iamvos) Parallel to his teaching and artistic activity since 1995 he has been working as audiovisual and lighting engineer in theater plays, live events, exhibitions and other.
was born in Patras , Greece in 1982. He studied modern double bass with Evgeny Bratushka at the Municipal Music School of Volos and then with
Vasilis Papavasiliou at the Hellenic Music School in Athens, where he graduated. He also gained a bachelor’s in musicology from the University of Athens. Between 2006 and 2010 he lived in Amsterdam where he studied the violone (historical double bass) with Maggie Urquhart and gained a bachelor’s and a master’s in the Amsterdam Conservatorium. He has played as a freelance musician in many orchestras, chamber music groups,electroacoustic music projects and music for the theatre.
